ZEBEX Eagle Z-6180 is an advanced dual-laser omnidirectional in-counter scanner. Proudly ranked as the most powerful model among ZEBEX barcode scanner products, it has just received the honor of this year’s red dot award: product design.

Starting in 1955 and now with more than 12,000 submissions from more than 60 countries, the red dot design award is the largest design competition in the world. It provides opportunities for manufacturers and designers of a wide variety of industrial products and the number of entries grows year by year. For the year 2010, 1,636 companies from 57 countries have taken part in the competition for the internationally renowned design award.

To win the award, the Eagle competes with 4,252 entries this year. It features unique dual-laser technology, has powerful decoding ability, and scans in 10 directions with 40 scan lines at a rate of 3,600 scans per second. The Eagle also includes a field-replaceable scratch-resistant window, clear diagnostic LED indication, instant “object-fly-by” automatic wake-up, and built-in EAS antenna. It is perfect for high-volume applications like hypermarket, warehouse and manufacturing management.

This is our second red dot award as well as the fifth international design award. Out accomplishments include two iF Award (Z-1070 and Z-3051HS), two red dot design award (Sniper Z-3060 and Eagle Z-6180), and one G-Mark (Z-6070).
